Roast Beef Salad with Bloody Mary Sauce
Ingredients for the dish (4 servings)
  • beef (roast beef) - 400 g
  • thyme 8 sprigs
  • olive oil 120 ml
  • celery
  • salt
  • pepper
  • cucumber
  • rocket
  • mushrooms
  • Tabasco sauce
Bloody Mary sauce
  • Worcestershire sauce 20 ml
  • tomatoes 2 medium sized
  • lemon juice
  • garlic 1 clove
  • whiskey 20 ml
  • tomato juice 20 ml
Step 1
Cut the meat into slices about 2 cm thick. Then chop the thyme, mix with oil and rub the meat. Leave to marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Step 2
Heat the grill pan. Put the meat on a dry grill, fry until you reach the desired degree of frying the meat. You can also grill mushrooms at the same time. Remove the meat from the pan, then sprinkle with salt and pepper and let it rest.
Step 3
Cut into slices about 0.5 cm.
Step 4
Use a vegetable peeler to cut the cucumber into thin slices. Cut the celery, prepare the rocket.
Step 5
Sauce preparation: blend tomatoes, celery, olive oil, Tabasco sauce, Worcester sauce, salt, pepper, lemon juice, tomato juice and whiskey.
Step 6
Roll cucumbers in the shape of "snails", arrange rocket, mushrooms, put slices of roast beef. Pour the Bloody Mary sauce.
